No sooner do we announce a Lodge order then more follow. The UK holiday accommodation market, and parks and lodge sites in particular, are preparing for a big upturn in business once Covid restrictions are removed in the coming months. This has meant both enquiries and orders have been coming in to SPT and Kepi, who have joined forces as sister companies to meet this demand. Read on to find out where these recent orders are from.

Recent orders have come in as follows:

Retallack, Cornwall – this premium holiday village located in the South West, where tourism accounts for a £12bn contribution toward the local economy, have increased their order of  these two and three bed lodges to five units. An SPT company spokesperson said “It was great getting the initial order, which was placed before the final designs were confirmed. Initially this was really a trial to see how this type of lodge would fit in with the Retallack offer. With this latest increase on their order it’s obvious the management company have belief in our product. We hope to reveal the unique design for the Hamptons, which are concepts developed by our specialist modular designers, very soon”.

Nikki Units – after delivering a number of Nikki Lodges to one of our customers recently, news has travelled fast. These units are now raising interest from other holiday and lodge park operators on the East Coast and beyond. In fact we have just received an order from an “inland” located customer in Skirlaugh, which is located in the heart of East Yorkshire. Commenting on this and other orders a spokesperson had this to say “We haven’t been in the Lodge market very long but it appears our reputation is growing very quickly. This is really down to our unique manufacturing approach, using SIPs panels, that are made by SPT in Driffield and our assembly lines operated by Kepi in our new Carnaby production facility. When you combine this with our design approach, which is very different to the static caravans that have dominated the industry up to now, we are offering operators and the rest of the market a product with a real difference. And the exciting thing is there is more to come!”
