Kepi Receives CHAS Principal Designer & Contractor Accreditation

On the back of recent orders, met by Kepi and SPT, for Lodges to be sited at holiday villages and resorts across the country, comes the first delivery and handover of three Hampton 4 bed luxury lodges for the Retallack Resorts site in Cornwall.

Kepi, working with their sister company SPT, have landed a major order for 20 holiday lodges at The Bay, Filey, a premier holiday village on Yorkshire’s East Coast. With a mix of existing brick built cottages, holiday homes and apartments already erected and inhabited on the site, the owners of The Bay decided to add a range of luxury economical lodges and beach houses to their offer.

In 2020 at Kepi we started an update of our ISO quality management standards so that we could underpin our reputation for delivering excellence and value in our projects across the globe. Phase 1 was the achievement of three very important accreditations with more to follow in 2021.

The recognition of their quality standards is very important to Kepi. Along with a number of other quality recognition bodies the company have long been approved and regularly inspected by the Federation of Master Builders. In March of 2021 the FMB carried out their most recent inspection and Kepi passed with flying colours!

Not only do Kepi and their sister company SPT manufacture their Lodges range, from panels that the latter makes, Kepi are also responsible for on site installation of the Lodges. It really is a full turnkey, vertically integrated product range. From raw materials right through to site location. And there aren’t many companies in the marketplace who can say that. And to underline the fact, six brand new Lodges were delivered to and installed on site in one day in March 2021.

No sooner do we announce a Lodge order then more follow. The UK holiday accommodation market, and parks and lodge sites in particular, are preparing for a big upturn in business once Covid restrictions are removed in the coming months. This has meant both enquiries and orders have been coming in to SPT and Kepi, who have joined forces as sister companies to meet this demand. Read on to find out where these recent orders are from.

Kepi are proud sponsors of the Royal Engineers Rugby Union side, known as the Sappers for obvious reasons. The Club play at Gibraltar Barracks, home of 3 RSME Regiment and are the oldest service rugby club, having been founded in 1889.

SPT, our sister company, who manufacture panels that are used to construct modular buildings, have seen their recent expansion into a factory on the Carnaby Industrial Estate in Bridlington pay dividends. They are busier than they have ever been and are working at maximum capacity, including carrying out projects for us at Kepi.

Two companies based in Driffield East Yorkshire are quietly working on a revolution in house building, locally and nationally. The two companies are part of the same group. One, Kepi International, work on major infrastructure projects, often in areas of conflict, such as Afghanistan. The second, SPT Systems, manufacture modular building panels and are just breaking into the holiday lodge market in the UK and Europe, building lodges using their panels.

Kepi International Solutions Limited and SIPS Panel Technology Systems Limited, sister companies, have moved to a new site in Driffield on Skerne Road. This will now combine their operations, SPT were formerly manufacturing in Romania and Kepi had offices in central Driffield and based there for the last 5 years.
