The Federation of Master Builders is the largest trade association in the UK construction industry representing the interests of small and medium-sized building companies. They are champions of quality construction work and advocate the need for continuous improvement in building standards. Before you can join the FMB, members must go through a strict vetting process and independent inspection of their work, to ensure they meet the high standards expected of a Master Builder company. Not all builders pass the test.
After becoming a member the FMB require all members to be inspected every three years to ensure that Master Builders remain committed to the highest quality standards. It is this inspection that has been carried out at Kepi. A Kepi spokesperson had this to say “As a business Kepi understand the need to demonstrate and uphold the quality standards expected by our customers. Our FMB certification comes with Trustmark a government endorsed quality standard.”
“As well as the Federation of Master Builders we have recently raised our standards under UKAS certification, we now hold ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems) accreditation. This demonstrates our commitment to quality across the board and in everything we do. To support these major quality initiatives we have systems in place that are registered with the UK’s Local Authority Building Control (LABC) and are compliant with the Construction Line (Capita led) procurement system.”
